When to Use the Tow/Haul Mode on the Chevy Silverado 1500

The tow/haul mode on the Chevy Silverado 1500 is designed to be engaged when your truck is towing or hauling particularly heavy loads. It’s not necessary to engage it on lighter loads. A general rule of thumb is to turn it on when the weight of the load you are towing is at least 75% of capacity.
